WORKSHOP MANAGER | ENTABENI SAFARI CONSERVANCY

Entabeni Safari Conservancy, situated within the Waterberg UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, is seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to join the team. The Workshop Manager will report directly to the Reserve Manager.

Please note: This is a remote position, approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour from the nearest town. Single accommodation is provided on the reserve.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on mobile, stationary and facility equipment.
• Inspect machinery and equipment for defects and required repairs.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair facility machinery and farm equipment.
• Complete daily maintenance and repair job cards.
• Manage workshop tools, machinery inventory and ordering of parts.
• Maintain the asset register and conduct monthly stock takes.
• Complete timesheets, stock orders, reports and general administration.

Requirements:
• Qualified Diesel Mechanic or proven experience with contactable references.
• 5–10 years’ experience in a similar position.
• Strong knowledge of the repair and maintenance of farm equipment.
• Good knowledge of Toyota Land Cruiser and Hilux repairs and maintenance.
• Valid South African driver’s licence; Code 14 will be advantageous.
• 4x4 driving experience required.
• Computer literate.
• Willing to work flexible hours and in varying weather conditions.
• No criminal record (SAPS verification required).
